Additional info

how do i choose a location?

I am happy to recommend my favourite spots in Geneva, but you are welcome to choose a place that has a sentimental significance to you, or if you have a light filled home or garden that you’d like to have the session in, that is a wonderful option.

what if i want a session outside of geneva?

I am happy to travel outside of Geneva for special locations, there will simply be a travel charge of CHF 0.70 per kilometer by car.

How many people can i bring to my photo session?

Session prices are for up to five people. Additional individuals may be added to the “Keepsake” and “Heirloom” packages, for CHF 50.- per person. “Classic” portrait package is limited to five people.

How does the payment work?

The package fee is due in full upon booking to secure the session date. Nothing is booked until this payment has been received. Should you cancel or fail to show up to the session, the fee will not be refunded.

what happens if i have to reschedule?

Things happen, especially with kids, and I get that! I am happy to reschedule at no extra cost, with 36 hours warning. Anything less than that will incur an additional fee of CHF 100.-. Rescheduled shoots must take place within two weeks of original date.

do i get to choose which photos I want?

A proofing gallery & selection option is available with the “Heirloom” package only. For all other packages, final photos are chosen by the photographer.

do you offer more print products?

Yes, I work with professional printers who create incredible handmade heirloom products including custom albums, photo keepsake boxes, custom framed prints and more. These bespoke products are luxurious, archival quality and start at CHF 50.— Custom design sessions are available to all clients.

can i have the unedited photos too?

Professional photographers capture portraits in a different way than people snap photos from day to day in their cameras. We shoot in a format called .raw, a special file format that is meant for editing. They look different straight out of camera, when compared to a .jpg file. This format gives us the freedom to hand colour, tone and retouch the images to a professional standard that we wouldn’t have the ability to do to a regular .jpg file. The photos that do not make it to the editing process can be seen as more of an “artist’s sketch”- they are the midpoint towards the final product. Those “unedited” .raw photos are not useful to the client as they are not easily opened without the proper editing software, and they do not yet have the creative touch of the photographer. My work is not completed until the .raw photos have been through the editing process, and are then be converted to .jpg as the finished product. My role is to take the photos from A to Z so that they are beautiful works of art for you in the end!

When will i receive my photos?

Portrait galleries will be delivered to you via email up to two weeks after your session. For packages that include fine art prints, please allow up to six weeks from shooting date to receive your prints.

how do i receive the photos?

Every client will receive a password protected gallery where their photos can be viewed, downloaded and shared. All packages include the high resolution digital files according to the number of photos stated in the package, including full printing rights.

What is a matted fine art print?

The “Keepsake” and “Heirloom” packages include a specified number of matted fine art prints. These are printed on Fujicolor Professional DP II Lustre photographic paper, and are matted with a white card overlay and card back, produced by a professional fine art printing lab. The mat is 14x14 inches and the photo inside is 10x10 inches. You may upgrade to a framed matted print at an additional cost.

When are you available to shoot?

I take bookings Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
