Welcome to Little Artists: Summer Studio 2025 !

A week-long creative camp for children ages 6–12, inspired by the lives and work of groundbreaking women artists.

Hosted in my warm home studio and garden in Chêne-Bougeries, this full-day program blends hands-on art-making, storytelling, and outdoor play.

Each day, our little artists will explore a different iconic woman artist and create original work in painting, sculpture, and mixed media, inspired by our lessons.

Meet Our Five Amazing Women Artists!

The Summer Studio celebrates five incredible women who changed the world of art!

Each one had a special way of seeing and creating, and we’ll learn about their stories and styles.

1. Frida Kahlo
Frida painted pictures about her life, feelings, and Mexican culture. She used bright colors and showed the world who she really was — brave and unique!

2. Georgia O’Keeffe
Georgia loved painting big flowers and the desert. She made simple shapes look magical and showed us how nature can be beautiful in art.

3. Dorothea Tanning
Dorothea’s paintings are like dreams! She painted mysterious places and magical stories from her imagination.

4. Helen Frankenthaler
Helen made colorful paintings by pouring paint right onto the canvas, making beautiful patterns. She helped change how artists use colors and shapes.

5. Louise Bourgeois
Louise created giant sculptures, including spiders! Her art shows feelings like love, family, and bravery.

Your Instructor

Hi, I’m Nicole!

I’ve grown up surrounded by creativity—my parents are an architect and an interior designer—which inspired my lifelong love of the arts. I studied photography as my first passion and eventually earned my BA in Art History from Seattle University, where I deepened my passion for visual storytelling.

Over the years, I’ve combined my love for art with my joy in working with children. I’ve traveled the world as an au pair, gaining valuable experience nurturing and educating kids from different cultures, and I’ve also worked in an art classroom in an elementary school.

Since becoming a mother in 2015, I’ve pursued a part time career as an independent photographer, and more recently, I’ve been working as an interior designer. As a mother of three, I know how important it is for children to have creative outlets that inspire curiosity and confidence.

That’s why I created Little Artists: Summer Studio—a special place where kids can explore the wonderful world of art, discover inspiring artists, and express their own creativity in a fun, supportive and homely environment.

To keep our Summer Studio an intimate and peaceful space for creativity to flourish, places are limited to 6 participants per term.

I’m excited to share this journey with your children and help them grow as little artists and creative thinkers.
